The 2024 Moses Lake Youth Baseball Season is just a couple months away! The MLYBA Board is actively planning, fundraising, and registering players and coaches for another banner year.  The MLYBA manages Coach Pitch, Minors, Majors, and Babe Ruth baseball leagues for Moses Lake.  Last year, we had over 500 players and 70 coaches in the league.  The league is planning for over 550 players for the 2024 season.

Season Planning Schedule is as follows:

• Season Sign Ups - Now thru March 1st.
• Diamond Kids - wk of March 4th (replaces tryouts)
• Team Assignments and Notifications - wk of March 11th
• Practices Start - wk of March 18th (weather permitting)
• First Games - wk of April 8th (following spring break)
• End of Regular Season - wk of May 20th

All sponsorship and fundraising money go to support the operations of the MLYBA.  The board and coaches are all 100% volunteers.  These events and our sponsors allow us to keep registration fees low and provide scholarship opportunities for those need assistance.  We want all kids to have the opportunity to play the great game of baseball!

We are excited to announce the plan for the first MLYBA Diamond Kids camp. This is a pre-season camp for all Minors, Majors, and Babe Ruth players. The camp will be held at The Six Training Facility March 4-7, 2024 from 4:15-6:15PM. Each day is a different age group, refer to attachment for your Players day and time. Please ensure your player arrives between 4:00-4:15 to be checked in. This is a mandatory camp for all players in these divisions. There is NO FEE for this camp; however, again players must be registered for the MLYBA season to participate.

The camp will feature infield, outfield, pitching and live hitting stations. Real-time feedback and coaching will be provided as players make their circuits.

Coaches in these divisions will be required to participate in the respect age group. However, Coaches and other volunteers are encouraged to support each of the 4 days if available. We need 30 volunteers / coaches each night.

Players will need to be baseball ready for their respective age group camp. Please ensure they are wearing baseball pants, hats, protective cup, belt, and either jersey or tucked in shirt. Also NO CLEATS inside The Six Facility. Tennis or turf shoes only. Players must bring glove, helmet, and bat. If a player does not have these items, we will have a limited amount available on-site.
